Dr. Emma Fournier is a graduate from the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She was born and raised in Maine and attended the University of Maine Orono for her Bachelors degree in biology. Prior to vet school, Emma worked at a local animal shelter for several years and formed a strong interest in shelter medicine. During her time at Tufts, she worked on the university’s farm, spending many early mornings with the dairy cattle and breeding sows. Emma has a special interest in emergency medicine and cardiology, and is particularly fond of her horse patients.
In her free time, Emma enjoys hiking and traveling, and spends most of her time with her two hounds, Buck and Maggie.
