Dr. Batty grew up in Smithfield, Rhode Island enjoying various sports and participating in Boy Scouts. He went on to study biology and chemistry at Quinnipiac University. After graduation, he gained valuable experience working as a veterinary assistant at Woodstock Veterinary Clinic in northeast Connecticut. Then he pursued his veterinary degree at Kansas State University, graduating in 2022. His professional interests include small animal surgery, anesthesia, and emergency medicine.
During his education, Jesse spent nine summers at Yawgoog Scout Reservation working as a sailing instructor, boating director, and camp director.
He is excited to be back in New England exploring the forests, beaches, and cities. Go Colts! Go Bruins!
