Tracy Locke Zulick, DVM

Tracy Locke Zulick Veterinarian at Fenton River Veterinary Hospital
Dr. Tracy Zulick grew up in Mansfield, Connecticut sharing the pleasure and responsibility of a horse with her four sisters. She loved all animals and became interested in farming through her future husband’s family. She received her animal science degree at the University of Connecticut. Many years later when she was analyzing her career path, she decided to follow her dream and went to Tufts Veterinary School.

Initially, Dr. Zulick worked in a mixed-animal practice. She took care of all species of livestock, dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets, and even worked with Greyhounds at the Plainfield Race Track. Her next move was to a small animal practice of dogs and cats with the occasional ferret. While there, Dr. Zulick was able to gain a lot of experience in soft tissue surgery. Recently, she worked in a cat only practice where she has learned to appreciate and respect the uniqueness of cats and develop her experience with dentistry.

Dr. Zulick met and worked with both Dr. Moreys at her first position in Stafford and is thrilled to be working with them again.

Dr. Zulick lives in Ashford with her husband Rick. They own an old farmhouse (that was originally purchased by Rick’s grandparents in 1908!) and have a small farm where they raise hay, vegetables, fruit, sheep, chickens and turkeys. They have three adult married children and six grandchildren. Their pets include 2 cats. For fun they like to hike, bird watch, and go sailing.
