Location: Tolland

Amy graduated from the University of New England in 2009 with a B.S. in Marine Biology and B.S. in Environmental Science and later, in 2013, with an M.S. in Marine Science. Before starting with us, Amy worked for almost 10 years as a fisheries research biologist at a university and a non-profit organization, studying everything from sea scallops to sharks, to sturgeons and sea turtles.

She also worked for the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection for 5 years, holding several different positions in the Marine Fisheries, Wildlife, and Law Enforcement Divisions, gaining experience with inland fish, wildlife, and birds, including species such as moose, deer, geese, beaver, and hawks.

Amy is excited to work with people and continue learning about more species in her role here. In her spare time, she loves to do anything outside, even yard work, and of course, spend time with her dogs!
