The most important thing we are looking for is someone who truly cares about clients and their animals. We go further than the extra mile for our clients, which is what has and will continue to set us apart. Client communication is crucial and we are looking for someone who can effectively read and communicate with any and every type of client who brings in any species of animal. We have 3 hospitals that are located in fantastic towns that support our practice. We are right on the edge between suburban and rural living and are located within 20 minutes of anything you like to do for fun.
Our clientele allows us to practice progressive, excellent, high-quality medicine, dentistry and surgery on all species and we have the equipment to support it. In-house blood machines, UA analyzer, high-end digital X-ray and ultrasound, complete soft-tissue and orthopedic surgical equipment and pretty much any other piece of equipment you would need (cautery, laser, thermal imaging camera and more). We perform a lot of surgeries from spay/neuters to ACLs, FHO’s, fractures, C-sections, bloats, ophtho, you name it. You would have the opportunity to learn these skills if interested. We work up and manage all difficult medicine cases in house and we also will see any emergency during hours. We maintain great relationships with surrounding practices and rescues that increase our medicine and surgical caseload as well. New graduates would have a fantastic opportunity to learn or focus on almost any discipline they are interested in. Schedule could be flexible, but basically would be 4 days a week plus a weekend shift every 3 weeks.
The ideal candidate would have an open mind for treating all species (we see lots of exotics too) with a zest for continued learning and growth in all disciplines. We would encourage and support your professional interests. All you have to do is work hard and keep trying to become a better veterinarian. You would need to be someone who can balance all the diagnostics and tools we have with the reality of the animal’s situation (our clients love this part about us). You would need to be adaptable and maintain excellent client communication (have we stressed that part enough???).

Salary is dependent on experience and abilities, but it’s good and there are always opportunities to increase your pay!
