Kathleen is a Connecticut native and graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ with a B.S. in chemical biology. She spent a year working at the PennVet Swine Research & Teaching Center where she developed an appreciation for swine nutrition, husbandry, productivity, and welfare. She then received her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a mixed animal internship in Alvarado, Texas and then worked as a mixed animal associate veterinarian in Austin, Texas. Kathleen is happy to be back in the Northeast working close by to friends and family. She loves being able to practice medicine on a variety of species, but has a special interest in soft tissue & orthopedic surgery.
In her free time, Kathleen can be found caring for her succulent plant collection, reading, long distance running, exploring local parks, and doing any other activity that gets her outside. She loves taking her bloodhound Val out on new trails and also relaxing at home with her two cats, Alfred & Morty.
